Bathroom Mason Jar Uses

I love to use Mason Jars to store things in the bathroom. They are clear so you can easily see whats inside of them and they "stylish" enough to keep on your counter tops!
Here are 2 examples from my bathroom:

1. Q-Tip storage...Mason Jars are large enough to provide room for a whole box of Q-Tips and they will always be easy to get to.

2. Makeup Brush, Eyeliner, Mascara, etc storage.

Feel free to send me pictures of your bathroom Mason Jar uses and I may post them

Mason Jar Vase

The Mason Jar Vase looks great in any room! I have several throughout my house with different floral arrangements in them.

Supplies:

Mason Jar, no lid/ring needed.( I used Quart Size)
Flowers,decorative sticks etc.
Ribbon

Steps:

1. Put Flowers, etc. in Mason Jar

2. Tie a Ribbon around the neck of the Jar to match.

Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

As my first post on Mostly Mason I wanted to share one of my favorite things to make out of a Mason Jar! The Mason Jar Soap Dispenser is so easy to make and looks great by every sink of your house. Of course you could always put lotion in it too and have a Mason Jar Lotion Dispenser.

Supplies:

Drill
Mason Jar w/ lid and band (I used pint size)
Dispenser top (taken off old soap/lotion dispenser or you can buy them at a craft store for cheap)
Liquid Hand Soap or Lotion

Steps:

1. Take your Mason Jar and mark where the middle of the lid is and how large of an opening you need to drill for your soap/lotion dispenser top to fit.

2. Keep the lid and the band on the jar while doing this step. Drill a hole in the area you marked in the lid.

3.Take the lid and band off and fill it with soap or lotion. Put the lid and band back on the jar and insert the dispenser in the hole you drilled! Now you have your very own Mason Jar Soap or Lotion Dispenser :)
